Snohomish Co-op is a farmer cooperative owned by its members and has been around for over 75 years. In 1935, a group of local farmers began a business venture to supply farmers in Snohomish County fuel and farm supplies to operate their dairy and growing operations.

The Co-op Difference

Structured as a Co-op, the group purchased in bulk, covered expenses, offered competitive pricing, and returned profits to the membership in the form of patronage. The Co-op operates today much the same way it did 75 years ago with adjustments to it's product offerings and image to meet the needs of today's consumer. Over the years, the Co-op has aligned itself with other cooperatives such as CHS and its family; Cenex petroleum, Harvest States grain, Croplan Genetics seed, and Land O'Lakes/Purina feed. Along with the True Value cooperative, the Co-op has a rich offering of products it can access for its membership.

What separates the Co-op from other feed stores is the people. With over 11,000 members, it keeps the staff on their toes!
