Cover crops, also known as green manure, help cover and improve soils that aren’t being cultivated for production. Cover Crops also improve tilth. Tilth refers to the structure, or physical suitability for planting. Many of you may have bought some new chicks this year and are experiencing the rapid growth that these birds do in the first few months of their lives. They turn from the adorable little chicks into beautiful hens and may even begin laying eggs soon. While feeding a starter/grower has been the ideal feed up to this point, it’s time to make a decision on what layer feed you are planning to switch to once they reach that point.

Effective fly control is crucial for maintaining the health and well-being of horses, especially during warmer months when these insects are most active.
As the grass gets low or just from eating off the ground more, the horses naturally consume large amounts of dirt and sand. This can cause severe problems such as inflammation, diarrhea & sand colic. There is a simple solution to this that should be included in the diets of the horses which is called Psyllium.
