Rabbits

Rabbits are one of the most versatile types of livestock that most hobby farmers and pet enthusiasts can raise. They do not require as much feed, space, or energy as larger animals like cattle or horses. You can even raise them in your garage or backyard. At the Snohomish Co-Op, we have all the supplies you need for your rabbits.

There are currently 49 breeds accepted by the American Rabbit Breeders Association, all of which can be raised for show, pet, wool, meat, pelts, and manure for the garden. Pet rabbits can be litter box trained, taught to do tricks, and can be very personable. Domestic rabbits can live up to eight to twelve years, if cared for appropriately. From bales of hay, and organic rabbit food, to nesting boxes, and cage supplies for building a customized rabbit home, ask one of our associates for assistance. We are more than happy to help you get everything you need to delve into the world of rabbit ownership.
